Server Merge

D: i need to get a minecraft acount.....

Is there a way to get a free minecraft account? Or at least a way to get in the server with a cracked account....

rnt i a great admin im in seattle and i still check up on this site

so were merging a "cracked"server with a legit server...alot of the people who play here will have to get new "legit" accounts meaning they have to buy an account.

guys listen you can buy an account for 50 cents from hackforums which i guess i might be buying my account for.

masks im just wondering how are you supposed to make this servers admins into admins on the other server, do we have to "rise up" through the ranks or are you just going to tell the other admin to make us admins?

You could try him, but always use a trusted middleman MPGH even provide some of their staff as middlemen.

Hello, my name is mark. I am the owner of The Hissing Creeper. Unfortunately we do indeed run an online server rather than offline(cracked). There are numerous reasons for this but the biggest one is because of our size. We're not huge but we do have over 100 members signed on our forums (only about 50 log on steadily). If we were to switch to offline mode it would mean that ANY one of those members could potentially greifed by someone claiming to be them. Offline servers are good for small communities but we're growing and due to the size of our server its not just freezable to run offline. I could install something like xauth for this but thats just another step to take. Right now everything is authenticated and registered through our website. Without an account, you will not have any building rights. If something like xauth would be installed it means that the server would have to check the forums, then check the xauth login, then apply the changes needed. This would consume too much bandwith/resources to do on a large scale.

so if the admins here join your site are we going to be admins in game and on the site or do we have to work our way up like we did here?

I want to say that you would have to stay on the server a little bit, just because he does not know you. The server is a lot different than safecraft. But if he wants, he will do whatevvvveeeeeerrrr he wants.

You start out as a member as everyone else does. I talked to school alot about this to ensure people understood the huge differences between the two servers.

Once your a member for a while you have to apply (add in any experiences you've had prior in the application) to be a mod. Once a mod you need to show initiative to be an admin.

I do not let admins OR mod spawn items. Nor do I give them benefits. The main reason why is because I do not believe mods/admins are about having benefits, they are about wanting to better the server. I trust each of my mods/admins with commands that could potentially be hazardous to the server.

This being said school can probably give you a better admin approach to the server as he has been an admin for a while.

I dont even give myself benefits and im the server owner! Most I've done is given me a "sword of truth" for a short period (sword enchanted with everything at the highest level)

Actually dark, a while ago one of our moderators -was like 3rd person on the server- decided to world edit the entire world.

No on our server right? your talking about on safecraft (which that would be a ban)

Yea it was on safecraft

My town got destroyed 3 TIMES because of that moderator.

That wouldnt happen on our server... I do not tolerate actions like that from a mod, admin or member.
